The Division of Student Life Staff Development Committee is responsible for providing opportunities for connection, community, and learning to Division staff members.
Our vision is to provide a well-rounded experience for DSL staff members so that they enjoy their work, appreciate staff development opportunities, connect with colleagues across the Division, and gain skills to further their good work here or elsewhere.
Do Know Harm
Wednesday, 4/24/19, 2:30 PM-4:00 PM, IMU 346
This is a tremendous opportunity to keep informed about what we all can do to keep students safe at U of I. This workshop will provide an overview of the potential harms for students; alcohol abuse, interpersonal violence, etc., supported by data, research in this area, trends, causes and past efforts. It will inform you about the U of I plans and services in place to prevent harm and provide you with resources available to refer students. No registration required.
Presenters: Susan Junis, RVAP Assistant Director-Prevention & Outreach
Tanya Villhauer, Director for Student Wellbeing & Harm Reduction Initiatives
