Getting access to TreeRing

HR will identify if a supervisor will need access to approve time records and create a user account. HR will assign employees to supervisor.

Student managers will:

  • Edit exceptions daily. Exceptions are missed punches, duplicate punches or overlapping punches
  • Add data to the time sheet where required, including worked time and time away. Example: if an employee forgot to record a shift worked, allows to insert a shift worked.
  • Run daily reports including Who’s In, Who’s Not In, Approaching Overtime, Exceptions, Early/Late, Department Distributions, Job Distributions, Daily Time, Time Sheets, and Time Sheet Summaries.

Supervisors will:

  • Edit exceptions daily.
  • Add data to the time sheet where required, including worked time and time away.
  • Run daily reports including Who’s In, Who’s Not In, Approaching Overtime, Exceptions, Early/Late, Department Distributions, Job Distributions, Daily Time, Time Sheets, and Time Sheet Summaries.
  • Approve time sheets at the end of the period. 

Managers will:

  • Edit exceptions daily.
  • Add data to the time sheet where required, including worked time and time away.
  • Run daily reports including Who’s In, Who’s Not In, Approaching Overtime, Exceptions, Early/Late, Department Distributions, Job Distributions, Daily Time, Time Sheets, and Time Sheet Summaries.
  • Approve time sheets at the end of the period.

To request access to TimeCentre, contact your HR Representative.  HR Payroll administrators will keep systems current with active supervisors and back ups. 

Job Codes: The system manages each position with an assigned job code.
